Auckland University Dance Association

The Student Dance Club of UoA

The Auckland University Dance Association (AUDA) is a recognised student group from the University of Auckland that brings together dance enthusiasts from various dance backgrounds, communities, and experiences.

New members are always welcome, so get in touch to find out how you can join!

Our purpose is to be a gateway for people who wish to explore dance further and to connect them to the dance community by providing opportunities such as classes, jam sessions, events, workshops, and sponsor partnerships to facilitate each individual’s dance journey. We will also help them gain a stronger appreciation of the roots and history of their chosen dance styles.

All About Auckland University Dance Association

Who Are We?

Auckland University Dance Association was founded in 2017 after a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interests into an official Student Club for dance.
AUDA is made up of enthusiastic individuals from all walks of life who share one commonality – a love of dance. Regardless of your dance background, experience or skill level; we welcome and encourage everyone with even the mildest interest in dance to come join our family! When you decide to join us, you too will gain access to various events and, most importantly, to a group of like-minded individuals who are just as passionate as you are.

Key activities include: weekly dance classes, performance crew trainings, social events, showcases and highlighting dance community events.
